Should I use highway or combined fuel economy?
Use the figure closest to your route. Stop-and-go driving usually consumes more fuel than steady highway travel.
How do I include a round trip?
Enter the total round-trip distance, or double the one-way distance before calculating.
Does passenger count change fuel use?
The calculator uses passenger count only to split the cost. Heavy loads can slightly reduce real fuel economy.
